This part 1 video describes a decoder called HD AUDIO RUSH that converts digital signals such as Optical (SPDIF) and Coaxial into a 6 channel 5.1 Analog signal.

Decodes Dolby AC-3/DTS audio to 5.1 analog audio, allowing many homes, schools, plazas, music venues, and movie theaters to enjoy the stunning effects of DTS or Dolby sound.
5.1-channel digital audio decoder converts fiber signals, coaxial signals (including LPCM), or digital audio signals output from PCs, PC sound cards, PS2, PS3, XBOX360, HD players, HD set-top boxes, and DVD players to 5.1 analog audio signal.
The DTS/AC-3 source digital audio signal is decoded, converted into an analog 5.1-channel audio signal, and the analog stereo (R/L) signal is passed through an audio processing chip and converted into an analog 5.1-channel audio signal.
